Have clear links to contact you by email or by telephone. There are many reasonably priced services (and even a few free ones) that will allow your customers to chat in real time with you. Give the customer the option to choose their preferred form of communication.

When you focus on what is good for the other guy, if you let him talk and you actually listen, he will be excited to do business with you. As you string together one customer after another having this kind of experience, the natural result is you become a successful online entrepreneur.
